Bentley Drivers Club Summer Concours 2016

This year saw another impressive turn out for the Bentley Drivers Club at their annual Concours d'Elegance in Wroxton, Banbury (BDC HQ).

Displays of vintage, derby and modern Bentley's proved a fantastic sight to behold.

It's fair to say this year saw some of the most extravagant picnics to date! From simple picnic baskets of summer treats, to gazebos erected next to owner's cars, complete with fairy lights and champagne - the BDC members really upped their picnic game this year.

Saying this, VBE is never one to miss out. After the success of last year's picnic-themed stand in the trade tent, we decided this year we were going to provide some excellent summer hospitality. We parked Richard's 3-4½ outside the tent and got stuck into cutting up some fabulous pork pies and Pimms pouring. Homemade and local was the emphasis of the picnic (to enhance our values of traditional, personal customer service).

VBE support the BDC and its members entirely, so when presented with the opportunity to give something back as a thank you and also a chance to enjoy the day as well, we felt this event was a fitting option.

A big thank you to Elliots Butchers who provided the Pork Pies and scotch eggs. (The chicken & ham pie was clearly the favourite!)

Here's to the 2017 Summer Concours.
