Originally, VBE ( Vintage Bentley Engines ) specialised in engine rebuilds and developed its own designs of such items as replacement crankshafts and con rods to utilise modern shell bearings without detracting from the original feel of the engine.

Chassis work was followed by body, electrical and then trim, so that gradually every aspect of the car was catered for. The move to bigger premises in 2001 finally allowed for a complete service to be provided in the newly created workshops of 4000sq.ft.

A new trim facility was launched in 2006 enabling full vehicle trimming.
