Vintage Bentley Gearbox and Final Drive.

VBE rebuilds Bentley gearboxes of all types fitting close ratio gears if required, new bearings and modern lip seals to make them more oiltight.

VBE can convert gearboxes to constant mesh ( Dog Box ) gears to make gearchanging faster and easier.

Overdrive units can be fitted to 3 Litre 4½ Litre and 6½ Litre cars. Our own mounting design involves no hole drilling of original parts which allows the easy reinstatement of the original non-overdrive propshaft. Our overdrives are inhibited to work only in top gear and have a specially designed uprated main shaft which has proved 100% reliable in the arduous conditions of many international rallies.
