  • The new body frame, crafted in the traditional manner from laminated and glued ash.
    The shape of the frame was computer generated, based on a 3D scan of an existing Le Mans body.
  • Starting point for this project was a 1924 3 Litre Gurney Nutting open body tourer.
  • The body is finished in blue trim to the order of the French customer.
  • VBE carried out the rewiring of the whole car.
  • The VBE trim department carried out a complete restoration of the interior.

  • VBE undertook the making up and fitting of a new wiring harness.

  • The transformation is complete. .
  • All the trim for the car, including Tonneau cover, carpets, seats and fabric covered body was completed by the VBE trim department.

  • Le Mans Classic 2008 gets underway
    Customer is moving before other cars are in gear.

  • Vehicle restorations is complete.
    Customer takes delivery of the car.
  • As darkness falls over the famous circuit 1926YP14 races on into the night.
  • 1926YP14 at speed on the Mulsanne Straight in the 2008 Le Mans Classic. Supported by the VBE Racing Team and co-driver Richard Cresswell, the car completed over 250 trouble free racing miles against stiff competition on the famous Sarthe Circuit.
  • The VBE Restorations Racing Team celebrate their success in the 2008 Le Mans Classic.
    Of the 18 Bentleys entered this was the highest placed fully equipped touring Bentley.
  • This extremely elegant vehicle attracted a lot of interest whilst both stationery and at speed!!
